(LOS ANGELES and SÃO PAOLO — November 6, 2025) Virgin Music Group, the world’s leading partner to independent artists, labels and entrepreneurs, announced today it has extended its partnership with Brazilian independent record label GR6 well into the next decade.
With such acclaimed artists as Perera DJ, Nilo, MC PH and DJay W, GR6 is one of Brazil’s most successful independent record labels, placed in the Top 10 of Brazilian independent labels by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) earlier this year, as well as having one of the top ten songs of 2024 in Brazil with “Let’s Go 4.” GR6 is led by Founder & CEO Rodrigo Oliveira and has been with Virgin Music Group since 2020.

The label is preparing one of its most ambitious releases ever, “GR6 Historias,” a 60-track compilations of re-recordings of some of the label’s most iconic hit songs, reimagined by hugely popular artists including, MC Livinho, MC Davi, MC Don Juan, MC Kevinho, MC Neguinho do Kaxeta and others. The collection is being assembled in association with KondZilla, the trendsetting Brazilian label head and music video producer.
